Our section is committed to being a leader in the conduct of clinical research programs. The section's faculty regularly conducts clinical trials with a broad range of industry leaders. 

One of our most exciting projects is our adult cardiac surgeons' use of the Cardiovad 2 ventricular assist device.  We are the only site in the world currently implanting this life-saving device.
