Pediatric Otolaryngology
Our pediatric otolaryngologists work with a team of nurses, audiologists, speech and swallowing pathologists and other healthcare professionals at the University of Chicago Comer Children’s Hospital to provide a multidisciplinary approach to the care of children with ear, nose and throat problems. These disorders range from common problems affecting children (e.g., ear, tonsil and sinus infections, as well as snoring and obstructive sleep apnea) to more complex problems (e.g., congenital hearing loss, neck masses and complicated airway problems).
Here at the University of Chicago, we understand the physical and emotional needs of children and encourage the informed participation of parents in all aspects of patient care. Some of the conditions that our team treats include:
- Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)
- Sinusitis
- Airway Problems
- Sensorineural Manifestations of Gastroesophageal Reflux (GER)
