Pancreas Transplantation

Our experienced pancreas transplant team includes surgeons, transplant nurse coordinators, social workers, nutritionists, endocrinologists, pharmacists and financial coordinators. Together they have many years of experience and have conducted and coordinated hundreds of surgeries.

Pancreas transplant is for those patients who have uncontrollable type 1 diabetes. This option will give these patients an opportunity to have a normal lifestyle free of insulin.

For anyone interested in pancreas transplant, please contact Kelly Weems at 773-702-9287.
