Implementation & Health Services Research (IHSR)
Our Surgery Implementation & Health Services Research group conducts innovative and impactful studies to tackle issues in and beyond the field of surgery related to healthcare access, workforce, cost, quality, equity, and policy. We support faculty and learner scholarship with a focus on balancing the demands of surgical practice with the necessary rigor of investigation. Through rich interdisciplinary collaborations across University of Chicago, our research serves to advance scientific methods and knowledge with the goal of positively impacting patient care.
