All Maroon Plan, Maroon Savings Choice and UCHP women participants can receive convenience, quality obstetric and gynecologic care from top specialists in women’s health through the University of Chicago Women’s Health Friends and Family Program.  Services include annual exams, contraception, adolescent gynecology, pregnancy care and delivery, menopause management, surgical care and more.  To get started, call 773-834-7999 or email ucmfamily@uchospitals.edu. 

Planning on growing your family?  With the University of Chicago Health Plan (UCHP) or Blue Cross Blue Shield HMO Illinois Plan, you may nothing or a minimal copayment, then your plan pays 100% for maternity care.   Inpatient hospital stays have just a $350 copayment per admission.

The Maroon Plans, BCBS HMO and UCHP plan all cover infertility treatment including IVF, IUI, and more.

Through the University of Chicago Adoption Assistance Program, up to $5,000 per adoption ($10,000 per lifetime) is available for qualified adoption expenses.  Just submit the adoption assistance claim form with itemized bills and legal adoption paperwork no later than 90 days after the adoption.
