The University of Chicago proudly hosted the Surgical Section of the 2025 National Medical Association (NMA) Annual Convention & Scientific Assembly on our campus at the medical school, July 19–23, 2025. This premier gathering of Black physicians and healthcare professionals brought together leaders in medicine, innovation, and advocacy. Under the leadership of Dr. Wilson, our faculty facilitated impactful medical education, meaningful networking, and important conversations shaping the future of Black health.
