We are devoted to the advancement of knowledge in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and our hope is that our continued persistence and tenacity will continue to make outstanding contributions to the field. Our research goal is to bring the scientific brilliance and clinical skills of our faculty directly to the bedside to improve patient outcomes. The Section of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery conducts a broad range of research in areas such as allergies, chronic nasal and sinus disorders, head/neck cancers, cochlear implants, health disparities, airway problems and pediatric otolaryngology. Through our comprehensive research efforts, we aim to develop and improve treatments for these diseases and disorders, and ultimately, improve the quality of life for our patients. 

We are humbled by the responsibility to educate the next generation through our Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Residency program, and bring a thorough and rigorous approach to teaching. Students and residents experience a challenging program of clinical and research opportunities with the goal of integrating scientific inspiration with compassionate personalized care.

In 2021, we launched an Otology fellowship.
