Documentary Screening Discussion: A Still Small Voice

On July 30th, the Department of Surgery’s Collaborative Opportunities Committee hosted a Documentary Screening and Discussion of A Still Small Voice. Moderated by Tobias Spears, PhD, the event featured panelists Valluvan Jeevanandam, MD, Kimberly Martin, DNP, ANP, Chaplain Joshua Daniel, and Chaplain Angela Parkinson. The screening sparked meaningful conversation around connectedness, burnout, emotional presence, and the role of inclusive, compassionate care in moments of crisis. The discussion was engaging, thoughtful, and a testament to the value of creating space for reflection in our work.
