We are thrilled to announce that our transplant team at the Department of Surgery, University of Chicago, is ready to serve at the University of Chicago Medicine’s 22nd Annual Day of Service and Reflection (DOSAR)! This event, organized by UChicago Medicine’s Urban Health Initiative (UHI), fosters partnerships with civic leaders, community organizations, health care providers, and residents to improve health and access to quality care on the South Side of Chicago.
DOSAR is a wonderful opportunity for our team to give back to the community by engaging in hands-on tasks such as gardening, cleaning, and painting. Our participation underscores our commitment to service and reflects our dedication to the communities we serve. We extend a huge thank you to the Urban Health Initiative for their incredible work and ongoing support for the South Side of Chicago.
